| ATP members who attended The Travel Convention in Tenerife should make sure that they log their CPD points. You are entitled to two points for attending the Convention. | ONLINE GREEN TRAINING |

Launched at The Travel Convention last week, sustainable travel charity The Travel Foundation, in conjunction with ABTA, has launched two new training tools for the travel industry. An interactive, online training system has been developed specifically for agents to enable frontline staff to improve their understanding of sustainable tourism. You'll get a certificate when you complete your training and gain CPD points if you're a member of the Accredited Travel Professional (ATP) scheme.There's also a manager’s training toolkit Sustainable Tourism in Action - Training for Change, which is designed to feed into a company's management training programme. |

If you have done any training lately and would like to claim points towards retention of your ATP membership, just visit the website and claim the points you have earned. If your particular activity is not listed, contact us to request that we allocate points to it. We may ask you for a bit of information, but it won’t be too big a job – just duration of the training, brief detail of the content and probably not a lot more. |
